CraZy KidS

Everybody keeps warning us about this boy that is coming. Saying he is going to keep us busier than the girls. All I have to say is if he is any busier then Harlee we are in trouble. Harlee never seizes to amaze us. The latest was a week ago on Sunday when we were getting ready to leave for church. Steven was sitting on the couch putting on his shoes. Harlee walks up and says it's stuck with her finger up her nose and sneezing. So Steven tells her to get her finger out then. She then comes over and tells me the same things. Then I remember she had a bead for a necklace in her hand not too long ago. When I asked her if she stuck it up there she said yes. Every time I touched her nose she would say "that hurts" and pushed my hand away. Steven said looks like we're heading to the E.R.. Steven picked her up and said i will hold her and you try to push it out. He looked in there and could barely see it if he moved her nose around. Then Steven just happened to somehow pop it out. So we left for church and were lucky enough to get there and have only the very front row to sit on.

Harlee's recovery from surgery has been really good. She wears her glasses occasionally if her eyes start to drift a little bit. The surgery corrected the part of the problem that the glasses weren't correcting. So, they could still turn a little from time to time until her eyes completely adjust and she grows out of that. All in all, the surgery and recovery went very well. We see the eye doctor again in three months.

Tamzen had a bit of a rough night last night. She woke us up about 4:00 this morning crying and saying her legs hurt and wanted to sleep in the bed with Steven. Steven told her our bed wouldn't take the pain away. So she stood back there and cried for a little bit until Steven gave in and told her that she couldlay in the bed with him if she didn't cry. Steven said as soon as she climbed in she stopped crying. I wished that darn magic bed would work for me and make it so thatI could be able to sleep in it and fall right asleep when my ribs hurt. Then when she woke up she said she feels taller because it was her legs hurting from growing.

No crazy stories for Olivia right now...surprisingly... although she did cover Harlee's eyes in make up a couple of days after the surgery. Harlee wasn't allowed to touch or rub her eyes so it was quite a chore getting it all off without pushing or rubbing too hard on her little eye lids.

The girls are all getting very excited for the baby to get here. Yesterday Steven told Olivia that it was finally the month of Februray and she wanted to know if that meant the baby was coming out today. So hard for them to grasp the concept of time sometimes. Harlee is constantly lifting up my shirt and touching my belly and talking to her baby brother. My next appointment is tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully the doctor will discuss a date for induction. He promised we could talk dates as soon as I got 37 weeks which will come on thursday this week. We shall see...
