FieLd TriP

Tamzen's first grade class took a field trip to the Museum in Mesquite last week. They walked from the elementary school to the museum. Luckily, I work just next door to the Museum so I was able to take a break and spend a little time with them at the Museum. Steven and Harlee came also. Olivia was at preschool. The kids learned about many things inside and outside of the museum. They asked a lot of really cute questions that only six year olds would be able to come up with. Hopefully they all learned something.
Harlee waiting on the bench outside the museum for our turn to go through the museum. The museum is pretty small and holds A LOT of stuff so the kids were split into two groups. One went inside while the other stayed out and learned about some wagons and old farm equipment that sits outside.
Tamzen inside the museum
Tamzen outside learning about an old outhouse that is being restored.
Tamzen's group learning about a really old wagon that has been restored.

It's so fun to go on field trips with kids, most of the time they're excited for their parents to be there too!
