We spent some time at my Mom's cabin over the holiday weekend. It was nice to get out of town, enjoy some much needed COOL weather and spend some time with most of my sisters and my Mom. Everyone was there except Sally, she is away at college in Reno. We missed her... We had a good time watching movies, hanging out and of course eating. Sabra even showed off some of the skills she is learning at school by giving Betsy, Lauren and Greta a scalp treatment. Steven and Tamzen and Olivia brought their bikes and went to Red Canyon and went on a short bike ride. The girls had fun and both came back with treasures from an Indian trading post that they stopped at. We got a little rain so there wasn't much playing outside for the little kids but they had fun any way. The weather is turning colder up there so there is only a little bit longer that we can make it up there to enjoy the cabin before the weather gets too cold and the snow comes...there is no heat in the cabin. Our next trip is scheduled in a couple of weeks. Steven is not very excited about it but I can't wait. We are taking the Young Women in our ward up for a night for a YW Retreat. It is gonna be great fun. Here are a few pictures from the weekend.
Olivia fixing Grandma's hair. Sabra was doing scalp treatments so Olivia thought she needed to be doing someones hair too. Grandma was a good sport. She only pulled a face because of the hair pulling a couple of times.

A couple of deer that we spotted. It is so fun for the kids to see all the animals up there. Mom has lots of bird feeders and it is neat to watch all the chipmunks and birds come to eat.

Fun! It is alway so nice to get away. Is that Lauren on the side of the picture with Tamzen? Whoever it is it looks like they have the same shape of nose-how cute!

Yeah it is fun to be able to keep in touch through the internet. It's amazing. We are having another girl. we thought it was a boy, but aftr a 45 minute ultrasound, there was no doubt it was a girl. I think that we still have one more waiting...I just don't ever want to be pregnant again.
If you guys are getting another girl, you can tell Steven that it's all his doing. He is the one that determines what you have!
Well, I better go get ready. Sara Palin is coming up here for the deployment ceremony today. And i'm excited to hear her speak! TTYL.
